On Thursday, December 7, 2023, it was with the team of the tourist office that we tested for you a great novelty: the Weinburg Game!
In a somewhat foggy setting, we were greeted by the elf of the Vosges at the entrance door of the castle! Equipped with a flashlight to face the night, we are ready to enter to begin the quest. Unfortunately, having lost the keys to the gate, we first had to help him find them so that we could cross the pontoon! That’s right, the game starts before we even walk through the door, and for that reason it already makes us pay attention to every peculiarity that surrounds us.
Once the first riddle has been solved, we are inside the castle walls.
Medieval immersion at Wangenburg Castle!
While ambient music resonates that immediately transports us into this game world, the adventure begins! We have 1 hour and not a minute more to solve the different puzzles and try to reach our goal! For an hour, the castle comes back to life and every detail counts. We need to look at every nook and cranny to validate each step and move forward together.
In this life-size role-playing game, the elf of the Vosges follows us and guides us. It allows us to validate the various layers of the game and invites us to work as a team.
Tip: If you get stuck, don’t hesitate to ask the Vosges elf for a hint, always on the lookout for our progress.
An escape game between vineyards and mountains
Après une première étape plus axée sur l’histoire médiévale, nous devons résoudre de nouvelles énigmes d’une nouvelle thématique : la route des vins.
En plein milieu de cette quête, nous avons l’occasion de partager un moment convivial autour d’une dégustation qui prend toute sa place dans l’intrigue. Une belle manière de découvrir ce vin typique de notre destination Mossig et Vignoble, la cuvée Argentoratum. Dans un panier en osier, des mignardises nous attendent pour accompagner notre verre de vin. In a wicker basket, sweets are waiting for us to accompany our glass of wine.
After this gourmet interlude, we must continue towards new enigmas. Yes, time continues to pass and we must not lose sight of our goal. We continue to sharpen our senses, between cards, books, boxes, etc… In the end, it is our joint thinking that will help us understand the puzzles and solve them. There are only five minutes left before the end of the mission and together we reveal the Rhine chalice!
