Rangen, a village with a population of 150, is at the foot of the Goeftberg and close by the Kochersberg. Essentially agricultural in character, the village has 4 farms raising cattle and poultry as well as four other businesses. Among the sights in the commune is the Saint Martin’s church dating from the XIIth century and its Romanesque bell tower.
A picturesque village set among vast expanses of agricultural land, Rangen is just a few kilometres from Wasselonne, the chief town of the canton.
